General catalog scents rotate in availability between the various products of lotion, soap, etc. Certain fragrances are not made or available outside of the specified product next to the fragrance description. Fragrances not offered in leave-on products typically do not have the staying power desired to offer them in this format or may be much too costly to offer in other formats. Fragrances only offered in perfume oils may contain costly essential oils or absolutes which restrict us from being able to offer them in additional products or they may contain sensitizing agents, such as spice oils, that may cause skin irritation if used all over body or in shower.

Most general catalog scents are usually in stock in perfume oil format. The majority of our fragrances are unique proprietary blends you will only find at Solstice Scents. However, we do carry a few stock fragrance oils as well that are popular with our customers (such as Pink Sugar Type and Dragon's Blood). Many of our blends contain Essential oils and/or absolutes. Most of our fragrance catalog can be enjoyed by men as well as women.

BLACK FOREST* ~ Agarwood, Nagarmotha EO, Tobacco Absolute, Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Mousse, Cocoa Absolute, Maraschino Cherries, Black Cherries, Hay Absolute, Sandalwood EO, Whipped Cream & a drop of Pink Peppercorn Essential Oil. This gorgeous scent was intially offered for VDay 2012 and was so popular it has now been added to the General Catalog. DRAGONS BLOOD*~ Oriental and Exotic with strong notes of incense, woods, spices, musk, vanilla and amber and other layers including a hint of rose, jasmine, lilac, blood orange, patchouli and grapefruit (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Bar Soap, Whipped Soap).

ENCHANTED FOREST* ~ Bright, fresh notes of woods, conifers, resins and subtle berry. (Bar soap, Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath).

INQUISITOR* ~ A Dark Resinous Blend of Myrrh EO, Labdanum Absolute, Beeswax Absolute, Frankincense EO, Amber, Leather, Burning Woods and More (Available in Perfume only). Not recommended for women pregnant or nursing. Due to the inclusion of Beeswax Absolute, this fragrance is not Vegan.

JACK & THE DEVIL* ~ Vanilla, tobacco, oakmoss, amber, Patchouli, pumpkin and soft spice. Contains vanilla, tobacco and oakmoss absolute with patchouli essential oil and fragrance oils. This blend is not suitable for women who are pregnant or nursing. (Perfume only, available as Ganache and Burnishing Glace in fall).

MANOR* ~ Woody-Vanilla Musk, Vanilla Accord, Glorious Black Agarwood & Exquisite Aloeswood. Previously offered as part of the Autumn 2011 collection, Manor was so popular that it is has become a part of the General Catalog. A best seller! (Perfume, Ganache, Burnishing Glace, Whipped Soap).

NAG CHAMPA* ~ An Exotic Incensey Blend of Champa Flowers, Vanilla, Jasmine, Spices and more (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Bar Soap, Whipped Soap).

OLD CEDAR MAGUS* ~ Fresh Cedarwood and Soft Vanilla Incense (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Whipped Soap and Bar Soap).

PATCHOULI SWEET WOOD* ~ A blend of earthy patchouli essential oils from Indonesia paired with vanilla sweetened sandalwood, amber and just a few drops of Vetiver essential oil. It is a very smooth, creamy and well rounded patchouli based fragrance with a mouth watering sweet element that elevates it from being dark, heavy or dank (Perfume).

PHARAOH* ~ Egyptian Musk, Honey, Frankincense Essential Oil (Perfume , Burnishing Glace, Body Ganache).

SANDALWOOD VANILLA* ~ Soft, woodsy, incensey and sensual sandalwood with a subtle vanilla that is not very sweet, rather a background note that softens the already gentle smell of sandalwood (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Bar Soap, Whipped Soap).

SCRYING SMOKE* ~ A wonderful meditative blend of Frankincense and Myrrh Fragrance with Frankincense Essential Oil. Reminiscent of smouldering resins. (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Bar Soap, Whipped Soap).

SEANCE* ~ Essential oils of Sage, Clove, Frankincense, Patchouli, and Ylang Ylang with a touch of Sandalwood fragrance oil. (Available in Bar Soap only). Not for women pregnant or nursing or those prone to seizures or who are epileptic - must avoid sage EO.

SHOIKAN GROVE* ~ This blend is comprised primarily of essential oils. Primary notes of Virginia Cedarwood, Spruce, Siberian Fir, Oak and Vanilla with background notes of Muhuhu EO (very woodsy), Jamarosa Root EO, Sandalwood EO, 2 different Frankincense EOs, Wood Smoke, Copaiba and Peru Balsam. More of a masculine blend but also wonderful for Women who appreciate complex woody-smoky-fir scents. The Peru Balsam, Copaiba and Vanilla add a creaminess to smooth out the sharp Spruce and Fir notes (Perfume only). Not for women pregnant or nursing.

BLUEBERRY MUFFIN BATTER: Plump Blueberries, Sweet Brown Sugar Crumb Topping, a Touch of Vanilla Bean, Liquid Cane Sugar & Batter. (Perfume, Whipped Soap, Burnishing Glace).

CAFE MALLOWMEL ~ Rich coffee flavored with decadent caramel and sweet marshmallow cream. Contains coffee essential oil and fragrance oils (Perfume, Ganache, Burnishing Glace).

CENOBITE* ~ Dark, rich, boozy Vanilla Bean. Starts out as a strong vanilla liqueur but the dry down is a very smooth vanilla bean and French Vanilla. Several of my male customers also enjoy this vanilla as it is not a buttercream sweet vanilla (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Bar Soap, Whipped Soap, Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub).

COCOA MALLOW ~ Devilish Dark Chocolate and Fluffy Sweet Marshmallows (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub).

PINK SUGAR ~ Aquolina Type - Sweet, Intoxicating, Mature Cotton Candy Type Scent (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub).

POSTPRANDIAL~Black coffee illuminated by Irish Cream liqueur. Contains coffee essential oil (Bar Soap, Whipped Soap, Turbinado Sugar Scrub, Sugared Amber Scrub).

WARLOCK ~ Pure anise essential oil. Smells of delicious black licorice (Bar Soap). Not for women pregnant or nursing.

FLORAL:

BATHORY ~ A combination of Essential Oils of Pink Grapefruit, White Grapefruit, Palmarosa, Geranium Bourbon, Peru Balsam, Roman Chamomile, Rosewood and Jasmine with a few drops of Jasmine fragrance oil. (Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath). Not for women who are pregnant or nursing or those prone to hay fever.

LACE DRAPED SPECTRE ~ Madagascar Vanilla, Baby's Breath, Pink Carnation and Green Pepper Essential Oil (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Whipped Soap).

LAVENDER VANILLA ~ Lavender Essential Oil paired with sweet creamy vanilla and smooth French Vanilla. The lavender essential oil starts out powerfully then descends into the background as the creamy vanilla emerges. After some time on the skin, the vanilla takes center stage as the primary and lasting note, enhanced by a ghostly memory of lavender (Perfume, Ganache).

MOONLIGHT ON THE GROVE ~ Jasmine Fragrance and Essential Oils (Perfume. Bar soap offered occasionally in spring).

NIGHTGOWN ~ Initially offered for VDay 2012, we could not keep this popular scent of Vanilla, White Chocolate, Tuberose & Tiare Flowers in stock! Nightgown has now been made a part of the rotating General Catalog offerings in (Perfume, Body Ganache, Burnishing Glace, Whipped Soap).

VIOLET TRUFFLE ~ Dark chocolate violet ganache truffles topped with a violet-vanilla infused sugar (Perfume, occasionally Ganache)

TENEBROUS MIST* ~ Wild seas, terror-tinged skin musk, soft spices, faint wood smoke and a mocking pleasurable sweetness. Tenebrous Mist is a complex blend featuring 16 components. It is sweet, salty and delicately spiced with a soft warm smokiness and gentle blend of mild wearable musks (Perfume, Burnishing Glace). This scent was originally offered as part of the summer line but is often carried throughout the year in Perfume and sometimes Glace format.

GULF BREEZE* ~ Sea salt, sand, wind and ocean on an overcast day with the occasional raindrops sporatically falling. Very fresh, clean and unisex scent (Perfume, Bar Soap, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath, Whipped Soap).

HONEYSUCKLE GREEN TEA ~ Honeysuckle paired with a delicate and refreshing green tea and a few drops of lemon myrtle essential oil (Perfume, Ganache, Burnishing Glace, Whipped Soap, Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath).

KEY LIME, COCONUT CREAM & PINEAPPLE ~ Tart key limes, creamy coconut milk and a mild splash of pineapple juice combine to form an uplifting tropical fruit scent (Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub).

KUMQUAT & GREEN MANGO ~ Bright, sweet and juicy kumquats combined with fresh sliced green mangoes. This fragrance smells citrusy and a little green, like the green scent of a slightly under-ripe mango peel. LEMONGRASS & GREEN TEA* ~ Lemongrass essential oil softened by warm green tea. This is a fresh, tart and strong summery fragrance. Lemongrass has a lemony scent combined with a touch of fresh grass and is very true to its name (Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath). Not to be used by Women who are pregnant or nursing, those with sensitive skin or by individuals who could experience negative effects from increase blood flow, which lemongrass oil may cause. (Not available Summer 2011)

ROOT BEER FLOAT* ~ Frosty root beer combined with a hint of sweet and creamy vanilla bean ice cream in the background. (Whipped Soap, Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub).

SALTY MARINER* ~ Salty Mariner smells exactly like walking down the beach and being hit in the face with sea spray from the waves. It smells very salty, seaweedy and oceany. It is a pretty complex scent and you will be surprised how much it smells like the beach (Bar Soap).

SAVANNAH ~ A glorious combination of purple violet flowers, moss, tuberose, hyacinth, lily of the valley and a hint of crisp and cool Bartlett pear (Perfume, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Burnishing Glace, Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub, Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath).

Winter Collection scents rotate annually much like our other seasonal collections. These are a few of the scents that have been offered:

BAYBERRY* ~ Traditional Yule and Christmas scent reminiscent of pine and subtle berry notes. Smells fresh, crisp and definitively wintery (Perfume, Ganache, Bar Soap).

BLACK CHRISTMAS* ~ Primarily scented with bayberry and spruce, Virginia cedarwood is not far behind and clove lies in wait in the background. A few drops of orange are added to the blend, but not readily detectable, like a stalker in the shadows (Bar Soap only).

CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT BARK ~ Milk Chocolate, Cool Peppermint, Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate. (Perfume, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Burnishing Glace)

DARK GINGER SPICECAKE* (Formerly Gingerdead Man) ~ Gingerbread Cookies crash into a dark earthy corruption of Patchouli and Vetiver Essential Oil and a Woodsy-Earth Musk...delicious...and deadly. Scent is primarily that of warm gingerbread cookies laying on top of the other 3 components that serve to temper the sweetness a bit and add depth (Perfume, Ganache, Burnishing Glace, Whipped Soap).

FLINTLOCK* ~ Tobacco, Saddle Leather, Virginia Cedar, Black Pepper, Woods, Bayberry & Evergreens. Not for Women who are pregnant or nursing. (Perfume, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Burnishing Glace).

GINGERBREAD & VANILLA CREAM ~ The scent of gingerbread cookies with bakery notes of molasses, ginger, caraway seed, cardamom, cinnamon blended with 3 different vanillas. Smells like gingerbread with a subtle edge of creamy vanilla icing (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Bar Soap).

KRAMPUS* ~ Sweet Birch Essential Oil. Birch has a very wintergreen like scent, sweet, minty, refreshing (Bar Soap only). Not to be used by women who are pregnant or nursing.

NIGHTSTAR* ~ Nutmeg, Patchouli, Frankincense, Myrrh, Woods and Lemon. Not to be used by women who are pregnant or nursing. (Perfume only).

OUTPOST* ~ Sugar Crystals, Spruce, Fir, Soft Woods, Bayberry, Mistletoe, Amber. (Perfume, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Burnishing Glace).

RICE PUDDING & RUM SOAKED RAISINS ~ Warm rice pudding with a toasty slightly buttery scent coupled with soft spices, a little brown sugar, a pinch of vanilla and just a tiny hint of spiced rum soaked raisins. A comforting dish for cozying up next to hearth. (Perfume, Ganache). This scent has been discontinued.

ROASTED CHESTNUTS & MARSHMALLOW ~ Soft, nutty golden roasted chestnuts and a very faint wisp of sweet spice coupled with creamy fluffy marshmallows (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Whipped Soap).

RUSSIAN CARAVAN* ~ Smoked black teas and black leather with just a hint of fruity pomegranate and black currants, pink peppercorn and exotic amber (Perfume, Whipped Soap, Burnishing Glace).

SNOWSHOE PASS ~ White Amber, White Musk, Vanilla Accord, Peppermint Cream, Cold Winds. A Best Seller! (Perfume, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Burnishing Glace, Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub).

SPICED CRANBERRY & SPRUCE* ~ Tart plump sugared cranberries with a whimsical wisp of spice in the background and a soft and subtle Spruce Essential Oil (Whipped Soap, Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath).

SPIKED NOG & NUTMEG ~ Delicious creamy egg nog, a wee splash of rum and a few sensible drops of Nutmeg essential oil (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Turbinado Sugar Scrub).

SUGARVALE ~ Candied Pecans, Butterscotch, Buttered Rum, Brown Sugar, Maple Syrup, Hot Pralines & Milk Chocolate Cocoa. (Perfume, Ganache, Whipped Soap, Burnishing Glace).

DISCONTINUED SCENTS:
Several of these scents have been discontinued due to ingredients no longer being available. GC indicates scents that were General Catalog perfumes. Additional products may have been offered seasonally.

AMBER ROSE PETALS ~ Warm, Rich, Golden Amber Fragrance, Rose Fragrance and Rose Essential Oil (Perfume only). GC

ASTRAL TEMPLE* ~ Sensual Amber, Ginger, Orange and Clove will have you soaring to view your Akashic Records (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Bar Soap, Whipped Soap and TurbinadoSugar Scrub). GC

BLACK LEATHER, RED LACE* ~ A stirring blend of Amber, Vanilla and Leather (Perfume, Glace, Ganache Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub and Whipped Soap). GC

CHERRY VANILLA AMBEROSIA ~ A blend of 2 different ambers, black cherries, maraschino cherries, vanilla fragrance and absolute and a tiny hint of sweet mandarin orange slices (Perfume offered as part of the General Catalog. Ganache and Burnishing Glace offered for Vday 2012 collection). GC

CONJURE* ~ Complex blend of Amber, Vanillas, Cedar, All Spice, Cauldron Smoke and lots of other Essential Oils (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache.). *We have plans to reformulate this scent in 2013*    GC

GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE ~ Moist layers of rich chocolate cake filled with mouth watering coconut and pecan icing. Contains cocoa and vanilla absolute and fragrance oils (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache, Whipped Soap). *This scent has been retired due to discontinued components. Valentine's 2012.

HARVEST MOON ~ Apples, Pumpkin, Butternut Squash, Roasted Chestnuts, Spices (Available year-round in perfume and Burnishing Glace, Ganache and Bar Soap come fall). This blend contains spice oils that may be irritating to those with sensitive skin. GC

MONSTER MASH* ~ Mahogany, Amber, Vanilla & Essential Oils of Black Pepper, All Spice, Cardamom and Sandalwood (Perfume, Burnishing Glace, Ganache. Bar soap offered in fall).   GC

VICTORIAN TEA ROOM ~ An Elegant and Sophisticated Blend of Palmarosa EO, Bergamot EO (Bergeptene Free), Roman Chamomile EO, Kumquat and Orange Marmalade (Perfume, Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath). Not for women pregnant or nursing or those prone to hay fever.
